Utz Quality Foods , a beloved name in snacks, as we expand our operations in Kings Mountain, NC. We’re seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our night‑shift rotating schedule and help shape a high‑performing team that delivers quality every shift. In this role, you’ll oversee both Processing and Packaging operations, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and consistently. You’ll be instrumental in guiding your team, fostering collaboration, and driving success in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Rotating Work Schedule

Week 1: Friday‑Sunday, 6:30 PM‑6:30 AM

Week 2: Thursday‑Sunday, 6:30 PM‑6:00 AM (Schedule repeats weekly)

Responsibilities

Supervise all shift production operations for Processing and Packaging

Lead and manage hourly and temporary associates, including training, coaching, and performance management

Oversee all processes and ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and company procedures

Conduct pre‑ and post‑op inspections

Schedule, assign, and adjust labor based on production demands

Monitor line performance, labor efficiency, and packaging waste

Collaborate with QA and Maintenance to resolve quality or equipment issues

Maintain documentation for safety, quality, and audits

Drive a culture of accountability, food safety, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or mass production, preferably in a USDA‑regulated facility

Proven experience managing teams and leading plant programs

Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Strong communication, leadership, and team‑building skills

Comfortable working in a physical, hands‑on role (able to lift up to 50 lb)

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
