Our facilities are strategically located worldwide. Position: Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator Position Summary:

The Customs Specialist manages import and export compliance, oversees customs clearance for international shipments, ensures adherence to customs regulations, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risks in global trade. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with global customs procedures, regulations, and compliance management. Key Responsibilities: Customs Compliance Management:

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international customs laws; prepare and submit import/export documentation; advise on customs classifications, valuations, and duty rates; manage global compliance processes; support Free Trade Agreement (FTA) management. Regulatory Knowledge & Risk Management:

Stay updated on customs regulations; identify and mitigate compliance risks; liaise with legal counsel, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies. Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and enhance trade compliance processes; collaborate with internal teams to integrate compliance into business operations. Audits & Reporting:

Manage customs audits; provide documentation to authorities; prepare compliance reports; handle inquiries and records. Training & Support:

Train internal teams on customs regulations; serve as SME on customs compliance issues. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work with supply chain, logistics, legal, and finance teams to ensure smooth trade operations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience in global customs compliance or international trade. Strong knowledge of global customs regulations and compliance requirements. Experience working with customs brokers and regulatory authorities. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
