We’re looking for an

Operations Manager

to lead a skilled team in a family-owned shop producing high‑precision, custom‑machined parts. This is a hands‑on role where your deep knowledge of CNC will help drive workflow, quality, and productivity on the floor. You’ll oversee a tight‑knit team of 15 employees, helping schedule jobs, troubleshoot programming issues, and manage day‑to‑day production. With no corporate bureaucracy and a real focus on craftsmanship, this is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both leading and doing—while keeping quality and deadlines on track. What You’ll Be Doing

Lead and supervise the daily operations of a 15-person machine shop team Serve as the go-to technical lead for CNC programming in

G-Code Manage job scheduling, prioritize workflow, and ensure on-time delivery Support quoting and estimating by reviewing technical prints and requirements Troubleshoot machining issues and provide real‑time solutions on the floor Work closely with material suppliers, internal teams, and customers when needed Track shop performance and maintain standards for safety, quality, and productivity Ensure team members are trained, supported, and performing at high levels Maintain documentation and production data within the ERP system What You Bring

BS degree

in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field –

OR

5+ years of CNC leadership experience in a machining environment Deep understanding of CNC machining and G‑Code programming Prior machine shop leadership experience Skilled in scheduling and managing workflow in a custom job shop Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings ERP system experience and strong computer literacy (Excel, Word) Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable leading by example and coaching a high‑performing team Why Join Us
