Senior Quality & Process Control (Q&PC) Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving quality excellence and process control across multiple manufacturing facilities producing composite siding, millwork products, and Cedar Impressions siding. This multi-site role champions best-in-class manufacturing practices, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and ensures that all products meet or exceed internal standards and customer expectations, leveraging technology to achieve best-in-class manufacturing capability, performance and customer satisfaction. This position supports operations at sites in Mankato, MN; Social Circle, GA; McPherson, KS; and Denver, CO. It ensures that plant and third-party manufacturers consistently produce products meeting established quality specifications. The role collaborates with Engineering, WCM, Manufacturing, and R&D to identify and resolve issues across the entire production process—from raw material supply through to finished goods delivery. Essential Functions

Quality Systems Leadership Leads the Plant Quality Council to align with strategic goals. Ensures audit readiness via structured reviews and root cause analysis. Acts as SME for ISO 9001, VSI, ASTM; represents plant in audits. Oversees QMS training and document control processes. Quality, Compliance & Process Improvement Owns plant-level quality systems and ensures regulatory compliance. Drives Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction initiatives. Develops inspection/testing protocols and leads corrective actions. Conducts supply chain audits and resolves customer complaints. Tracks and communicates key quality metrics. Establishes CTQ standards and implements SPC and capability studies. Develops control plans, process maps, and FMEAs. Partners with operations to improve yield and reduce scrap. Uses data analytics for trend identification and problem-solving. Manages digital quality systems and dashboards. Promotes a safety-first culture and supports EHS programs. Ensures quality team participation in EHS efforts. Maintains ISO documentation compliance for EHS. Conducts risk assessments and mitigates high-risk areas. Leadership & Team Development Leads and develops quality team members. Demonstrates sound judgment and coaching in quality matters. Stays current with industry trends and tools, applying them as needed. "Your Skills Matter" What do you bring? Bachelors in business, Engineering, or other technical field: Required WCM or Six Sigma Green Belt Certified: Preferred Minimum 10 years of Quality work experience with demonstrated levels of responsibility: Required Experience with building products (siding): Preferred Intermediate analysis skills, including Excel, Access, and MiniTab: Preferred Ability to represent the plant and interact professionally with internal/external contacts: Required Candidate should be a strong leader and complex problem solver – able to translate technical documentation and regulatory standards into actionable plans and processes. Good investigative and interpretive skills needed to analyze customer claims to determine root cause and corrective action. Drives Management of Change process working with SPG Quality Leadership, key stakeholders, and Technical Services team to design and implement process changes, controls, and validation audit program. We provide the national pay range for this position, which is $133,000 to $213,000 per year, with base pay varying by geography, internal equity, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) is $155,610.00 - $249,210.00. Bonus payments are variable and not guaranteed. Seniority level
