This role can be filled in either Foster City, CA or Austin, TX Visa office. No Relocation offered. The Client Platforms team is the foundation on which the future of Visa is being built. It handles crucial global commerce platforms like Visa Developer (VDP), client onboarding, Visa Partner, and billing platforms. Since 2016, VDP has grown significantly, now handling over 10 billion API calls monthly, serving major clients like Wells Fargo, Netflix, Google, and FinTech innovators like Revolut, Square, and Chime. An essential part of our client experience is our API platform (VDP), which is the gateway for building with Visa APIs. Essential Functions
As a member of the client platforms product team, you will strategize and execute client experience initiatives for the Visa Developer Center. You should have experience managing web platforms, a passion for client experience, and a desire to make Visa the top choice in payments innovation. You will need strong communication and leadership skills, managing multiple projects, requirements, backlogs, and stakeholder collaboration. Specifically, the Product Manager will:
Develop a 3-5 year growth strategy for Visa Developer portal. Lead website redesign initiatives with cross-functional teams. Gather requirements, manage backlogs, and translate needs into development tasks. Conduct user research and market benchmarking to inform roadmaps. Create and edit website content. Ensure the platform meets internal and external client needs. Collaborate with teams to deliver the product roadmap and ensure success. Work with Technology to:
Develop technical requirements based on business needs. Build, test, and launch features. Participate in user acceptance testing. Manage the technology backlog and prioritize features. Work with Design to:
Conduct user testing and research. Translate business needs into UI/UX designs. Oversee design backlog for website graphics and icons. Work with Global Product to:
Develop a portal supporting over 150 products and solutions. Identify shared services opportunities. Understand user personas and unmet needs. Qualifications
Must have permanent work authorization in the U.S. No visa sponsorship provided. Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD. Preferred Qualifications
12+ years with a Bachelor's, or 8-10 years with an advanced degree, or 6+ with a PhD. 5+ years post-college experience in product, sales, marketing, or technology. Customer-focused mindset and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with APIs, developer tools, and emerging tech. Experience supporting product roadmaps and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to analyze market trends and user requirements. Additional Information
Work hours vary. Travel required 5-10%. This is an office-based role with physical and mental requirements typical of an office setting. Visa is an equal opportunity employer.
