Job Responsibilities
Provides leadership to the healthcare team for patient/resident nutritional needs.
Performs nutritional screening and assessments to gather data relevant to individual nutritional needs.
Develops and manages nutritional care plans for patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adolescents, geriatrics, and terminally ill patients.
Handles pressure to meet deadlines, maintains accuracy, and adapts to changing situations.
Interacts effectively with a variety of people, manages stressful situations, and handles conflicts.
Performs all assigned duties and adheres to all regulations and procedures of licensing boards and Benefis Health System policies.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
If credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (CDR) prior to January 1, 2024, grandfathering provisions apply.
Registered or eligible to register as a Dietitian.
Participates in continuing education to maintain registration.
Montana license or license-eligible required.
