Overview
Seeking a BE/BC academic addiction medicine physician to join a growing addiction medicine division.
Responsibilities
Provide inpatient and outpatient specialty care for individuals with substance use disorders.
Contribute to hospital consultation services, inpatient detoxification/stabilization, and residential programs.
Participate in emergency department and hospital bridge programs, community paramedicine and field buprenorphine initiation, jail transition care, and outpatient group and specialty medical visits.
Support a low barrier walk-in clinic and a wrap-around perinatal SUD program.
Engage in dual diagnosis psychiatric and addiction medical care, and integrated addiction and infectious disease care including HIV and hepatitis C treatment.
Collaborate on innovative community work and participate in clinical innovation, education, and research programs.
Report to the division head of addiction medicine and hold an academic appointment at the Medical School of Rowan University.
Qualifications
BE/BC academic addiction medicine physician.
Desire to shape the delivery of substance use disorder care and be versed in urban underserved care and harm reduction.
Benefits
Salary range: $117-165/hour. The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
