Physical Therapist – Travel Position

Pay: $2,595/week
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a healthcare facility in Colebrook, NH on a 13-week travel assignment. The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitative services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them improve mobility, restore function, and enhance overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is adaptable, patient-focused, and experienced in providing therapy in diverse care settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess patients’ mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Provide therapeutic interventions including gait training, strengthening, balance, and mobility exercises.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, safe mobility strategies, and home exercise programs.
Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and care plans accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Support recovery, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based PT practices.
Qualifications
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Current and valid PT license in New Hampshire (or compact eligibility).
Minimum 1 year of recent PT experience in inpatient, outpatient, or rehab settings.
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills.
Compassionate and adaptable approach with experience treating diverse patient populations.
COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
