Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.**Position Overview**The Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is seeking a dynamic academic sleep medicine physician at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor ranking.
The Division is comprised of a comprehensive team of physicians and staff focused on delivering high-quality patient care, contributing as academic leaders through scholarship and discovery, and educating medical students and postgraduate trainees. Completion of Pulmonary/Critical Care training is a plus, but not required. Join a group of sleep specialists in the only referral center in the greater Columbus area with an ACGME-accredited sleep medicine fellowship program. Interest in clinical research is strongly preferred.**The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine**
The Division of Pulmonology, Critical Care, and Sleep, led by Division Director Dr. Jeffrey Horowitz, boasts a broad array of clinical opportunities with sections of general pulmonary and critical care medicine, transplant pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and interventional pulmonary medicine that are complemented by clinical, translational, and basic research, and substantial educational opportunities. The Division has experienced substantial growth in clinical operations and its research enterprise over the last five years, and the reputation for excellence attracts outstanding physicians, educators, investigators, and trainees at one of the most comprehensive health sciences campuses in the nation. We offer state-of-the-art facilities and a diverse patient population. These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD), Doctor of Medicine (MD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study. Their primary career focus centers on research, service, and teaching. Tenure-track faculty with MD or MD/PhD degrees may also be involved in clinical care.
**Research Faculty (regardless of rank)** - Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor. These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study.
