Compensation:
Pay Rate: $50.00 Hour - Weekday, $55.00 / Hour - Weekend Shifts Available: UAB Medicine supports

The shifts available for this unit are: - Flexi/PRN Job Highlights: UAB Spain Rehabilitation Center is opening an 11-story, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation pavilion in spring 2025. The new hospital will include 78 rehabilitation beds and the latest technology – all designed to promote functional activity at every turn. Our team of highly skilled therapists practice in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive, evidence-based care that’s focused on each patient and their road to recovery. We support professional clinical development by empowering our clinicians through mentorship and other growth opportunities that elevate our standard of care. Also, UAB Medicine covers the cost of obtaining certain professional certifications. Home to nationally designated SCI and TBI Model Systems,

To evaluate, plan, direct and administer prescribed occupational therapy treatments to assist patients to improve or restore their maximum functional level. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed, eligible to be licensed or practicing under a limited permit as an Occupational Therapist (OT) according to the rules and regulations of the Alabama State Board of Occupational Therapy required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required. Primary Location
