Marshfield Medical Center located in Marshfield, Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care physician. Join a well established team of 6 experienced physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians. Physicians in this role will have the opportunity to mentor, supervise, and work alongside residents 24/7, contributing to both patient care and medical education. Responsibilities
50:50 Pulmonary : Critical Care Split Pulmonary portion is M-F no weekends; 2 weeks of pulmonary each month, consists of both outpatient clinic and inpatient consults. Approx. 7 inpatient Critical Care shifts each month. Recent addition of the lung nodule clinic; onsite thoracic surgeon to collaborate with! Dedicated bronchoscopy suite Excellent anesthesia support for intubations and OR procedures including EBUS State-of-the-art Cancer Center with monthly Lung-Tumor Board meetings Interventional Radiology on-site 24/7 Respiratory Therapist coverage who manage NIPPV/Mechanical Ventilators Dedicated, experienced clinic support staff who allow our providers to focus their time and energy on providing exceptional patient care Work-life balance Critical care procedures will include, but are not limited to bronchoscopy, central line and chest tube placement.
