Pay Rate:

Starting at $55,000 for Associate Level License (APC, LMSW, MSW). Full licensure (LPC, LCSW) salary starts at $60,000.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Population:

High acuity mental health clients.

What we are looking for in a Primary Therapist: Dunwoody Behavioral Health Center, LLC

is seeking a licensed professional for a primary therapist position. Acceptable licensure includes: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Associate Counselor (APC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The therapist will have the opportunity to treat clients in both group and individual settings.

Responsibilities of a Primary Therapist:

Utilize counseling and psychotherapy to evaluate and treat emotional and mental barriers to health.

Assess needs and determine appropriate individual, group, and family counseling.

Conduct interviews and assessments of potential clients for program participation and referrals.

Analyze situations and provide crisis intervention as necessary.

Interpret and implement procedures regarding crisis intervention.

Provide direct counseling services.

Assess and monitor client behavior.

Create individual treatment and service plans.

Report unusual incidents to the Clinical Director.

Maintain a high level of initiative.

Minimum Qualifications for a Primary Therapist:

Minimum 1 year experience with high acuity mental health clients.

Must have LPC, LAPC, LMSW, or LCSW licensure or certification.

3-5 years of experience in substance abuse and/or mental health treatment.

Ability to lead group sessions and conduct individual and family therapy.

CPI and CPR/First Aid training highly desired.
