Tulane University
Skilled clinician with experience and passion for severe mental illness to oversee daily clinical and program operations for EPIC-NOLA. This position will also provide direct service to caseload including assessment, treatment, case management, and successful discharge.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to manage program operations for EPIC-NOLA
Ability to establish, promote, and maintain a positive work environment
Ability to develop and maintain positive collaborative relationships with stakeholders
Ability to ensure program quality assurance and adherence to quality metrics
Ability to provide guidance, supervision, and support to staff
Ability to identify First Episode Psychosis (FEP) and coordinate care
Effective communication with clinicians regarding patient issues
Preparation for clinical activities and group sessions
Make hospital visits for rapport building, education, and support
Complete assessment tools for program evaluation and quality indicators
Provide staff training and participate in team meetings
Manage caseloads and oversee clinical documentation
Assist billing and ensure timely documentation
Attend supervision with Medical Director
Complete all documentation promptly and appropriately
Knowledge of first-episode psychosis interventions
Provide clinical services including assessments and therapy sessions
Conduct psycho-educational groups for clients and families
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year supervisory or management experience
Experience in mental health evaluation of adolescents and young adults
Experience with psychotic disorders
Interest in research
