Your role will involve representing clients in a wide range of litigation matters while delivering top‑tier legal services.
Responsibilities
Handle local and national general liability accounts throughout California.
Independently manage a litigation caseload.
Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
Review and analyze discovery requests; prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.
Prepare court filings, serve counsel, and manage e‑filing.
Support trial preparation and provide trial assistance.
Maintain accurate time records.
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to provide strategic counsel to clients.
Prepare legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and other necessary instruments.
Advocate for clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
Offer guidance and advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues.
Stay abreast of legal and industry developments.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to achieve client objectives.
Maintain precise and organized case files and documentation.
Candidate Requirements
A minimum of two years of experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability litigation.
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Must be admitted to practice in the state of California.
Experience with motion practice and depositions.
Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.
Capable of independent work.
Work in an organized and efficient manner.
Superior research and writing skills.
Ability to multi‑task and analyze complex matters.
Salary commensurate with candidate experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
