Job Description
Screen for developmental delays and disabilities (like speech, motor, or cognitive challenges).
Work with families and teachers to create (IFSPs) or IEPs.
Partner with parents to share observations and provide resources.
Work with parents to set and achieve individual child goals.
Keep up-to-date with weekly lesson plans, progress notes, anecdotal records, and necessary paperwork.
Perform child screenings and assessments within the required timeframe.
Coordinate referrals to additional education, training, and support for children with special needs.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or Special Education.
Experience with children 0-5 in a classroom setting or must obtain Infant or toddler units.
Must have experience working with children with special needs.
Must have teaching experience in a classroom.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist Endorsement.
Experience working for a HeadStart program.
