CompuRay Medical, a leader in medical imaging recruitment and staffing, is conducting a search for a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a leading healthcare provider. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the diagnosis and care of patients with vascular conditions. Responsibilities
Perform ultrasound examinations to assess vascular conditions, including peripheral arterial and venous disease. Prepare preliminary findings and report results to appropriate medical professionals. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of clinical settings. Utilize ultrasound technology to deliver precise and accurate results. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. Qualifications
Minimum Education Required: Graduate of a registry-approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Minimum Experience Required: No prior experience required. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required. Registered as one of the following: Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credential International (CCI) Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography (RT(VS)) Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience as a vascular sonographer in a hospital inpatient, outpatient, or ambulatory setting preferred.
