Overview
The nurse is responsible for patient preparation, assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries, performing various diagnostic tests, administration of medications, and patient education in the clinic. Maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and all outside agencies including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs and other physician0s offices, as well as with the patient. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain patient flow and maintains accurate and complete documentation. Responsibilities
Prepare patients for procedures and assist the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. Perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic. Maintain equipment and act as liaison between the physician and outside agencies (hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs and other physician0s offices) and with patients. Support other medical staff to maintain patient flow and ensure accurate, complete documentation. Qualifications
Current Arkansas nursing license. Degree from an accredited institution. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly. Connect With Us
