Plant 1, 416 S Academy St, Stoughton, WI 53589, USA Responsibilities
Construction Fabrications: Fabrications of new component parts for prototype designs and test fixtures; construction of fixtures required for testing components and completed units; build representative mockups for testing portions of completed units. Perform Tests/Record Data: Follow the guidelines of each test to be administered. Record data precisely as it occurs. Requires working knowledge of load cells, transits, measuring devices, etc. Expedite Required Components: Order parts from manufacturing to assemble test fixtures and components needed to build test samples from a set of drawings. Recommend test equipment necessary to perform the specified test procedure. Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to Company policy. Attend scheduled work hours regularly and maintain good attendance. Ability to work mandatory overtime. Follow Company policies and procedures. Maintain test equipment. Assist Engineers in detail drafting (Computer Aided Drafting, AutoCAD). Field inspection and repairs; accompany Engineer to customer site to inspect and/or repair equipment. Work and communicate in a team environment. Education:
Degree from a two-year technical school in a related field. Licenses/Certifications:
Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Training
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Production Level (3-5 years of experience)
Proficient in all types of welding. Mastery of all assembly techniques used in production. Crane rigging and forklift operation in the company fleet.
Test Lab (1-2 years of on-the-job experience)
Utilization of hydraulic and pneumatic systems for test load applications (e.g., set up hydraulic/air pumps and cylinders).
