Mechanical Engineer
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Stoughton, WI . Pay: $30-$35.04/hr Duration: 6 months 100% onsite in Stoughton, WI Job Description
Performing Testing & Validation expertise for Automotive Emissions — will design, run, and interpret test results for mechanical/emissions-related systems. Conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and following structured 7-step problem solving methods. Adhering to industry standards - IATF 16949, and ISO 17025 quality standards Some Coding / Programming Skills for data analysis, simulation, and modeling involved Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (required); 1+ years of relevant experience preferred (co-op/internship ok) Testing & Validation:
Experience in testing and validation is desired — automotive emissions experience is ideal. Technical Knowledge:
Understanding of mechanical systems, emissions, or powertrain components is a plus. Problem Solving:
Strong knowledge of
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
and structured
7-step problem-solving methods
is required. Quality Standards:
Familiarity with
IATF 16949
and
ISO 17025
quality standards is a plus. Bonus Skills:
Coding and programming experience for data analysis, simulation, and modeling (e.g.,
