Mason Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Full-Time role on the 6a-10p shift with Power Weekends available. Overview
Licensed Practical Nurses join Mason Health and Rehabilitation to make a difference. The role focuses on daily care, health needs, safety and comfort of residents, professional assessments, documentation, and assisting with management of the nursing units staff. Responsibilities
Supervise, perform and provide written/verbal care assignments, routine skills and procedures to ensure quality of care to residents. Participate in development and implementation of resident care plans, maintain up-to-date nursing care plans, document progress, and make recommendations for revisions according to facility policy and procedure. Make daily and periodic visits to observe symptoms, reactions to medications and/or treatments. Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, weights, diet supplements and replacements, cultures, etc. Assist with orientation and ongoing training of staff to ensure required skill levels are maintained for all staff. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid LPN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements. Understanding of safe and effective nursing practices within the State of Indiana. Basic computer skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, etc. Personal integrity and ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and personnel. Passion for caring for people; ability to protect confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA. Knowledge of using computers and office equipment as needed.
