Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to treatment planning under supervision. Provide supportive mental health services to adults in community/public settings to support recovery and well-being. Maintain a professional demeanor reflecting on the client’s treatment and the agency’s reputation. Collaborate with agency staff to develop and adjust treatment plans based on client needs. Operate in a respectful, empathetic manner that promotes safe and inclusive care. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling). One year of experience providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illness or emotional impairment. Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling to practice as a QMHP or register as a QMHP trainee within 30 days of employment. Valid Virginia Driver’s License. Details
Position: Part-Time Adult Mental Health Support Services Counselor - QMHP Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm Hourly Pay: $23.23 The selected candidate must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test, and employment reference checks.
