The Sonographer performs ultrasound examinations and records the findings. This includes routine ultrasound exams, as well as specialized procedures as directed. This is a PRN position that travels between locations in Jacksonville and will eventually need to cover a 12-week maternity leave in October 2024. Performs nuchal translucency scans per established standards and guidelines. Completes fetal surveys. Performs hysterosonograms, as well as 3D-4D scans. Evaluates the images for their quality, but also interprets what was captured in the image. Documents/updates information in patient’s electronic medical record. Represents clinic in a professional manner. Treats all customers, internal and external, in a courteous and cooperative manner. Attends required meetings and participates in team activities and professional development activities. Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values. Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. This is a PRN position (Must be available when needed). Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification. Valid Nuchal Translucency certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Minimum of 5 years of recent OBGYN experience. Experience with 3D-4D scans. Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
