Invasive Cardio Vascular Tech 2, Surgical Center at Boca Raton Research Park, Per Diem, 07A-5:30P. Join Baptist Health as an Invasive Cardio Vascular Tech 2 at the Surgical Center location. The pay range for this position is $35.63 - $49.88 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities
Provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra- and post-interventional/surgical procedures, and management of supplies and devices. Monitor physiologic parameters and assist with direct patient care. Ensure safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures. Serve as a patient/family educator, advocate and liaison. Qualifications
Degrees: High School, Certificate, GED, Training, or relevant experience. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS). Additional Qualifications: Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technologist (CVT) from an accredited program or graduate of a health-science curriculum (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing). Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proof of RCIS or RCES exam eligibility required. Completes a minimum of 12 CEUs annually (10 CV-related). Minimum Required Experience: 1 year.
