Status: Full time • Hours per week: 35.1 • Schedule: Three 12‑hour night shifts/every 3rd weekend • Shift: 7 p.m. – 7 a.m.
Location: Comprehensive Cancer Center, Winston Salem Campus
Pay: $34.90–$52.35 per hour • Sign‑on bonus: $10,000
Position Highlights
New Grad RN – RN Residency
Sign‑on Bonus: $10,000
Department: Oncology
Residency: Supported training led by nurse educators; clinical orientation; specialty‑specific learning; skill‑building in decision‑making, teamwork, communication, and career development.
Unit specializes in leukemia and symptom management; 40 beds; strong onboarding.

Qualifications
New Graduate – less than 1 year RN experience.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire.
Responsibilities
Patient/Family Centered Care:
Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care; conduct thorough assessments; develop diagnoses; coordinate care to promote optimal health and wellbeing.
Patient Discharge & Referrals:
Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning and referrals to hospital and community resources as needed.

Create a secure environment by safeguarding privacy and ensuring respectful, professional behavior; embrace technology to enhance safety.
Effective Communication:
Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team and share information throughout the continuum of care.
