Our client, a manufacturer with a global presence and over 80 years of success developing innovative products utilized in a plethora of critical industries, is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinist to their shop team. This position is a crucial role within the manufacturing operations to ensure the company is able to produce precision parts for various product assemblies. Required Education/Experience:

HS Diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience setting up and operating 4+ axis CNC and manual mills and lathes. National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification or capability of obtaining it. Ability to work with grinders and other related shop equipment supporting the fabrication of precision parts or assemblies. Experience programming in G-Code and using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. Knowledge of good machining manufacturing processes such as the application of appropriate feeds and speeds depending on parts and materials. Familiarity with CMMS for documenting activities and communicating necessary details to stakeholders in the production process. Ability to use Microsoft Office products for email and form utilization. Preferred Education/Experience:

Associate degree in a relevant technical discipline, continuing education, or formal technical training certificate. Proficient at programming, setup, and operating HAAS mills and lathes. 3+ years leveraging CAM software and the ability to read 3D mechanical assembly models. Experience working with electrical discharge machining equipment for high precision part fabrication. Prior experience on a continuous improvement team or demonstrated ability to improve processes within a machining operation.
