Position Summary The A&P Mechanic
is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on GoJet’s CRJ fleet in compliance with FAA regulations, OEM specifications, and company standards. This role ensures aircraft are maintained to the highest levels of safety and reliability to support on-time operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on CRJ aircraft.
Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies in airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Complete maintenance records, logbooks, and work orders in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to perform accurate and efficient repairs.
Collaborate with inspectors, engineers, and fellow mechanics to resolve complex issues.
Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, and GoJet safety procedures.
Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required.
Minimum 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience; CRJ experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and structures.
Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
