Piping Engineer – Expertise Required - Mid-Senior Level Role
Location and Compensation Branchburg, NJ | $110,000 to $140,000 + Bonus

Qualifications
Professional Experience:
3–7 years in the oil & gas, petrochemicals, LNG, or power sectors.
Education:
Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI & API standards.
Proficient in PDMS, Navisworks, SmartPlant 3D, Caesar II.
Experience in stress calculations and piping modeling.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, specifications, and layouts quickly.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities
Model piping systems that meet code requirements and reliability standards.
Integrate pipe supports with structural elements under stress.
Optimize layouts for access, safety, and maintainability.
Manage BOMs, MTOs, and isometric drawings for field use.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust designs.
