Position Summary: The Department of Biology at North Central College invites applications for adjunct teaching opportunities on a per-course basis. Deliver course content consistent with learning outcomes; create assignments and assessments; evaluate and grade student work; provide office hours to support student success. Qualifications

At least a master’s degree in biology or a closely related field and experience teaching at the college level. A terminal degree is preferred. Contract Details

Faculty associate positions are hired on a semester-by-semester renewable contract, with a load not exceeding 8 credit hours and typically one course per semester. The position is a non‑benefits eligible, fixed‑term appointment with no tenure eligibility. Number of courses is contingent on unit needs, funding, and enrollment. About North Central College
