It is both a challenging and rewarding role where we seek to delight our end customers by delivering differentiated products. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide drivetrain design support for Large Mining Trucks, Off-Highway Trucks, and Wheel Tractor Scrappers. Support current product issue resolution for final drives, differentials, brakes, wheel groups, torque converters, transmissions, and electric drive systems. New product development support for the above‑mentioned drivetrain products. Support for root cause investigation of field issues, design of solutions, and release and implementation of solutions. New product concepts, design development, and implementation. Current factory issue support, design and process issue investigations, and supplier support. Creo Modeling and Drawings for designs. Collaborate with internal and external process partners. FMEA, APQP, and PPAP Support. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with 8-10 years’ experience. REQUIRED SKILLS
Mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of rotating component design. Creo modeling and drawings experience. DESIRED SKILLS
Understanding of design, manufacture, and assembly of rotating components. SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED
Communication, Collaboration, and Teamwork. Eager to learn. Desire to make a positive impact for end customers. Critical thinking and problem solving. BENEFITS
