Project Manager
to join their dynamic team and lead multiple construction projects from concept to completion. Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager
will oversee all aspects of retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects,from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple concurrent projects, coordinate with field teams and vendors, and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong experience managing timelines, budgets, and subcontractor performance within the
retail construction environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple retail, restaurant, and commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery Oversee all phases of project management — from pre-construction planning and design coordination to site execution and closeout. Collaborate closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain project flow and resolve issues quickly. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts; monitor and report progress against established KPIs. Review drawings, scopes of work, and proposals to ensure accuracy and cost control. Manage procurement, bidding, and contracting processes for assigned projects. Conduct site visits across Los Angeles and surrounding regions to monitor project progress and field execution. Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing status updates and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Support the Director of Projects in improving operational systems, processes, and standards across the department. Qualifications
5+ years of construction project management experience
— retail, restaurant, or commercial construction required. Proven track record managing multiple large-scale projects with budgets up to $2M+. Proficiency in project management software such as
Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam. Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes, contracts, and budgeting principles. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on work style. Ability to manage and motivate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
