Your Impact
WNA is seeking an experienced and motivated Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join our team in the Huntingdon Valley office, north of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on safety and sustainable design. The candidate will have developed experience producing projects on time and on budget, high standards for quality and performance, and a thorough understanding of design and construction processes related to building mechanical design and engineering. Experienced Engineer Priorities
Lead in the design of Plumbing Systems on a variety of projects under the supervision of the Project Manager and Principal In Charge. Support leadership in coaching and developing team designers Communicate and cross-coordinate with all design and drafting teams. Develop, prepare, and coordinate designs/drawings needs per applicable standards and codes Prepare plumbing and fire protection specifications, and coordinate with code officials Participate in the QAQC process and ensure compliance requirements are followed in all design output Attend meetings, conduct field surveys, and prepare technical reports Develop project time budgeting and prepare project cost budgets Directly interface with clients and attend networking events Contribute positively to the overall business development of the company What you need
Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania preferred 8 to 20 years direct work experience designing Plumbing systems for commercial, retail, education or similar industries Strong understanding of all building construction phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications. Demonstrated experience on MEP projects from design through final construction Experience working with water/sewer authorities and local municipalities and utilization of building / energy codes High level of personal integrity, professionalism and honesty with one's own abilities Collaborative mindset and the desire to develop self and others Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills Solid AutoCAD and Revit 2022 or newer WHY WNA
