Primary Roles and responsibilities
Revisions to existing procedures or processes
Repair, Maintain, Troubleshoot and provide general support for existing hardware
Printers
Packsize
Weight scales
RF handhelds
Locus robotics
Mobile workstations
Carton sealers
Coordinating calibration and preventative maintenance activities
Assist with tracking of equipment TPM and up-time
Assist ME with new qualifications and equipment selection as needed
Assist with regression and acceptance testing
Assist with documenting equipment troubleshooting instructions and escalation guides
Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot equipment and order spare parts
Team member for continuous improvement projects
Recommend and implement process, tooling, equipment changes for improving safety, quality, delivery and cost
Tasks
Routing COs to revise existing procedures/processes
Work with process owners to create/obtain redlines for COs
Execute quarterly Locus software update UAT
Respond and resolve equipment down time incidents in operations
Document equipment issues, work and resolutions
Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot equipment and order spare parts
Create documentation related to equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
Required Skills/Qualifications
High school diploma or trade school certification, specialized training/apprenticeship and/or equivalent in Engineering Technology, or other equivalent
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to work with assemblers and other non-technical personnel
Ability to teach and coach others
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
Results-oriented
Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner to meet assigned deadlines
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Demonstrated experience in using a range of standard maintenance, power and hand tools and equipment used in the trade.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Preferred
0-3 years of manufacturing technician experience preferred, but not required
Medical device experience preferred, but not required
The base pay for this position is $21.05 – $42.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
