The Transfer Center Specialist - Behavioral Health role provides technical expertise by facilitating patient transfers and consultations, managing assignments of Emergency Department, admissions to inpatient behavioral health services and providing support to all care team members to facilitate timely access to the inpatient behavioral health units. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School degree or GED preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: Two years of healthcare experience preferred Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient medical terminology, Microsoft Office, EMR skills Additional Information
