Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabrication Shop Fitter/Welder role in Portland, OR.

Ensure all safety procedures are followed and proper PPE is in place. Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and procedures to build accurate assemblies. Use grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication tools to prepare parts for fit-up. Tack weld assemblies and measure to ensure dimensional accuracy. Perform final welds in all postures and positions. Conduct First Article Inspections. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with fit-up as they occur. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with MIG, TIG, and Oxy-Fuel torch welding in a heavy industrial environment. Knowledge of rigging and crane safety. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Ability to work independently while following directions closely. Positive and professional attitude. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed. What We Offer:
