CNC Lathe Machine Operator
for a
2nd shift schedule . We are willing to provide training! Responsibilities
Independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss machines to produce precision medical implants. Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and adjustments as needed to maintain tight tolerances. Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to inspect machined parts. Perform routine maintenance and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.) on machines. Document production activities, including first-piece inspection logs, maintenance records, and work orders. Follow strict quality control procedures, including ID & traceability protocols. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining processes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus). Min 1 year of experience reading blueprints. Min 1 year of GD&T experience, measuring tolerances using micrometers, calipers and gauges Min 1 year of operating and setting up CNC machines, preferred but not required.
