TGCM MANAGER Purpose To define the job description for a TGCM (Total Gas and Chemical Management) Site Services Manager at any customer's semiconductor facility that is serviced by Matheson.

Scope The information contained in this document applies to all Matheson TGCM Site Services Managers, depending on scope of work defined in contract with the customer.

General Reports to Matheson Vice President – Electronics & Specialty Gases, Electronics.

Position Summary TGCM Site Services Managers work at customer's facilities and are responsible for staffing the site to levels based on terms of the contract. The manager directs the daily activities of the TGCM Site Service Technicians on site and is the primary interface with the customer on site.

Essential Accountabilities

Safety Function – Establish and enforce safety protocols for TGCM Site Service Technicians; develop local work procedures focused on safety; work jointly with customer safety representatives.

Quality Function – Complete all required training; manage document updates in Master Control; develop local work processes focused on quality to limit errors.

Productivity Function – Ensure inventory is managed properly to minimize run‑out of materials, as required by contract.

Training, Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience (7 years minimum).

Ability to work shifts to support worker shortages due to vacation, sick time or other time off as needed.

Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills.

Train and mentor new and lesser experienced TGCM Site Service Technicians.

Detailed Description of Activities

Maintain a safe work environment.

Complete safety training in accordance with the schedule.

Safely handle chemical and gas containers per work instructions.

Perform day‑to‑day operations and complete monthly reports for customer and Matheson management.

Primary interface with the customer on all operational activities.

Ensure Matheson policies and procedures are compliant with contract terms.

Lead and demonstrate process development, working with TGCM Site Service Technicians.

Operate chemical and gas distribution systems, including HPM and inert cylinder changes, chemical container changes, and other bulk container operations.

Attend customer meetings and monthly billing.

Drive continuous improvement in processes, seeking safety improvements, cost savings, and efficiencies.

Advanced troubleshooting of chemical and gas distribution systems with suppliers.

Provide basic and advanced training to TGCM Technician I, II and III employees.

Perform rounds and readings, inventory of chemicals and gases, fab deliveries, alarm response, gas and chemical system preventive maintenance and repair, purification systems operation and maintenance.

Unload trucks using PIT (powered industrial truck) and manual equipment such as carts and pallet jacks.

Write Safe Work Permits for contractors as needed.

Serve as Emergency Response Team member as required.

Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Escalate issues to appropriate persons and participate in audits, incident investigations working with SHE, HR and upper management.

Complete customer‑required training, housekeeping, and maintain inventory per contract terms.

Work with customer Purchasing Department on managing suppliers and input data into TGCM-CMMS for monthly reporting.

Other administrative and management duties as needed.
