Overview
As the Child Youth Assessment Therapist, you will work in an outpatient setting located in Cherry Hill, Camden County, NJ.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday; Varied hours
Responsibilities
Providing psychiatric emergency services and completing school clearance assessments for safe return to school; assess for ongoing treatment needs
Facilitates crisis resolution in the least restrictive environment possible
Engage and assess consumer strengths and needs
Develop individual service plans to address presenting problems
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to address identified needs and presenting problems
Provide crisis intervention when necessary
Collaborate with other service providers
Advocate for consumers and families within all systems involved (School, CSOC, DCPP)
Provide psychoeducation
Provide supportive telephone contact with families as needed
Maintain clinical records
Submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports
Attend supervision as required
Attend intra-agency and interagency meetings as required
Maintain required level of service
Develop and facilitate psychoeducational groups for school staff, families, and youth

Qualifications
NJ Clinical License (LCSW/LPC)
Master’s degree (MA, MS, MSW) in a recognized mental health discipline
Clinical experience working with individuals, and/or families
Driver's License in good standing

All candidates, if hired, will be expected to cooperate with Oaks Integrated Care and The Department of Human Services in all inspections and investigations.
