The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment, providing effective instruction, and assessing student progress within the framework of common syllabi provided by the School. Program Operation
Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes. Provide syllabi appropriate to the course(s) being taught, follow syllabus content and requirements, maintain attendance and grading records according to College policy, and submit requested information within established timelines. Students
Be available outside scheduled class times to assist students, address concerns, and consult with the program coordinator as needed. Instruction
Conduct all scheduled classes, utilize technology such as Blackboard and PowerPoint, and notify the department in case of emergency absences. Promote an environment of diversity and respect. Minimum Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of current technologies relevant to the area of instruction. Faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1, applicable to the specific area of instruction. Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution. Registered Nurse licensed in Indiana. At least two years of directly related work experience. Other Requirements
Positions may be available at Lafayette, Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Monticello, and Morocco campuses. Please specify your preferred location(s) in your cover letter.
