The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Thoracic Imaging who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department\'s mission and uphold the organization\'s values. Responsibilities include patient care, research, and training medical students, residents, and fellows. The Division of Thoracic Imaging focuses on all aspects of thoracic imaging, particularly oncology, interstitial lung disease, and in-patient critical care. Faculty have opportunities for advancement and work with multidisciplinary providers. Resources include imaging technology innovation, artificial intelligence, and health services research. The Department of Radiology is rapidly growing, with expanded services at off-site imaging centers and ongoing renovations and new spaces through the medical center\'s strategic expansion project ($3+ Billion). Main campus: New construction of a state-of-the-art 830-bed hospital tower, a biomedical research tower, and a Health Sciences building that will house the College of Medicine. Around the city: Construction of two ambulatory care centers in New Albany and Dublin, now completed and open, in addition to 16 established ambulatory care centers. Night hours: 4pm–1am Plain film radiography and CT interpretation. No cardiac or Aortic CTA responsibilities. Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Thoracic Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology: Provides high-quality patient care related to the Thoracic Service. Contributes to clinical and imaging operations related to the Thoracic Service. Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
Conducts clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings within OSUWMC and regionally/nationally. Collaborates with faculty and leadership to develop medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities. Mentors and sponsors residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
Research and Scholarship:
Supports clinical and translational research and innovation May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research interests
