Northwell Health – Seeking Epileptologists – New York
The Epilepsy Division of Northwell Health, the largest epileptologist program in the nation, is seeking epileptologists to join our multi-disciplinary team. As we expand neurological services across the Northwell Health System, we are looking for dynamic faculty members to join us. Currently, our epilepsy program has two hospitals with Level 4 NAEC center accreditations (North Shore University Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital) and two with Level 3 NAEC center accreditations (South Shore University Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital).

Dr. Souhel Najjar , a renowned neurologist and neuropathologist, our commitment is to improve outcomes and drive innovation through premier treatments for a wide spectrum of neurological disorders. The Department of Neurology has experienced tremendous growth over the past five years, establishing 18 ambulatory sites across various regions. Our Locations Manhattan Lenox Hill Hospital Nassau County North Shore University Hospital (Manhasset) Staten Island Staten Island University Hospital Suffolk County Mather Hospital (Port Jefferson) South Shore University Hospital (Bay Shore) Westchester Northern Westchester Hospital Position Highlights Our interdisciplinary team includes nationally recognized experts: epilepsy neurologists and epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses and nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, and EEG technicians. We utilize the most advanced treatments to evaluate epilepsy, prevent seizures, and treat comorbidities. The Department of Neurology leverages the resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care and contribute to research initiatives.
Note : There are no general neurology expectations for this role.
