As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, treating them as an individual, with a goal to restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You are adaptable to patient needs, enjoy the variety of settings, and collaborate with peers while making referrals to ensure patient care. You are committed to putting patients first and delivering the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.

Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
