The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects MCAT students with experienced tutors. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students’ learning journeys—from your home. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions to MCAT students focused on Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like; manage your own schedule. Deliver engaging instruction using the platform’s tools and resources, and adapt lessons to individual learning styles. Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to assist with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in MCAT Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and/or graduate-level education. Compensation & Benefits
Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student—up to $40/hour. Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced. Remote tutoring—no commuting required. Platform-supported tutoring with logistics handled by Varsity Tutors. About Varsity Tutors
