Dental Hygienist – Chesapeake, VA Welcome Bonus: $10,000

Location: Cedar Lakes Dental Care 1305 Cedar Road Chesapeake, VA 23322
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8‑5 Friday: 8‑12
Pay:
$48‑50/hr

Minimum Qualifications
Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
New graduates welcome!
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems.
Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
Clinical needs as required by the office.
Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office/doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year.
TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions (standard requirement). Not applicable in FL & TN.
