Telehealth Mental Health Therapist – Remote

About Affect Affect is expanding its high‑quality, accessible mental health treatment line based on technology and a human approach. We provide telehealth care for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Our model combines licensed therapists, innovative technology, and compassionate support, all delivered on the client’s terms.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic assessments and collaboratively develop evidence‑based treatment plans.
Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms.
Support members with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, and occasionally work with members who have substance use disorders.
Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Coordinate care as needed and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Participate in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations.
Adhere to HIPAA and all applicable state licensure regulations.
Requirements
Active and verifiable license from one of the following Ohio licenses: LSW, LISW, LIMFT, LPCC, LPC, or MFT. If your primary residence is not Ohio, you must also hold a valid license in your state.
Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings.
Strong communication and clinical skills with a person‑centered, trauma‑informed approach.
Comfort with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity.
Private, HIPAA‑compliant workspace and reliable internet connection.

Salary range: $60,000‑$80,000, commensurate with experience and professional license.
