Overview
The Department of Radiology in the Joe R and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio is seeking a Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist that must be ABR certified/eligible by appointment start date. This is a faculty position at the Assistant Professor to Professor / clinical rank and will include clinical and teaching duties. As a faculty member you will be providing services at University Hospital, Medical Arts and Research Center, UT Health Hill Country and other affiliated facilities. Our hospitals are regional referral centers for trauma, oncology, surgery, general medicine and organ transplantation.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical radiology services in musculoskeletal imaging, including image-guided procedures.
Teach medical students and oversee/mentoring residents in the performance and interpretation of musculoskeletal imaging studies.
Participate in research and participate in teaching/patient management conferences.
Contribute to clinical care across UT Health San Antonio and affiliated facilities.
Qualifications
Medical Degree and completion of an accredited Residency program.
ABR Certified/eligible and fellowship trained in MSK.
Texas State Medical License prior to start date or eligible to obtain.
Competent in diagnostic radiology, including musculoskeletal image-guided procedures.
