Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Washington Regional Urgent Care (FT/PRN)
Washington Regional Urgent Care, an affiliate of Urgent Team, is looking for dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our dynamic team in Rogers, AR. About Washington Regional Urgent Care
We have six locations in Northwest Arkansas and are part of the Urgent Team Family of Centers, providing quality and affordable family healthcare at over 80 locations under eight brands. Our walk‑in centers offer a range of services including injury and illness treatment, occupational health, and wellness care. Centers are open Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.‑8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.‑4 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m.‑6 p.m. All locations are Accredited Care Centers. Job Summary
Assist physicians in performing patient care and nursing procedures, interview patients, administer medications and injections, complete lab and x‑ray requests, maintain charts, and screen calls as directed. Full‑time team members work 36‑40 hours per week, including every‑other weekend. PRN team members are scheduled as needed. Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients and preparing them for examination or procedure. Recording health history and noting abnormal conditions. Assisting with supplies and equipment during treatment. Administering prescribed medications and injections. Observing, recording, and reporting patient conditions. Ensuring accurate chart entries and forwarding charts. Assisting with scheduling of tests and treatments. Arranging referrals and obtaining pre‑authorizations. Collecting and delivering lab specimens. Notifying patients of test results and follow‑up appointments. Cleaning and restocking exam/treatment rooms. Following infection control policies. Instructing patient and family on medications and discharge instructions. Assisting with physical exams. Contacting pharmacy for prescriptions. Maintaining accurate inventory of medications and supplies. Monitoring controlled substances. Screening telephone calls and triaging patients. What’s Required
A degree from an accredited school of practical nursing. AR State or Compact LPN License. BLS Certification. Full‑time Benefits
