As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders across diverse age groups. Your expertise will cover: Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments, clinical observations, and diagnostic tools to identify communication challenges and determine severity. Treatment Planning and Intervention:
Create personalized treatment plans and deliver therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based strategies to improve speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions. Therapeutic Interventions:
Implement interventions such as articulation drills, language exercises, voice therapy, fluency strategies, and management protocols to support skill development. Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC):
Assess and implement AAC systems to aid individuals with severe communication impairments, collaborating with families and caregivers for optimal customization. Dysphagia Management:
Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, exercises, diet modifications, and rehabilitation techniques to ensure safe swallowing and nutritional intake. Qualifications
Master's Degree in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Current license/certification in the state of practice Keywords: CCC-SLP, Clinical, Therapy Language Disorder, Articulation, Aphasia, Swallowing Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Communication, Fluency. TMC is an equal opportunity employer.
