Summary The
Quick Lane Technician
is responsible for lubricating cars efficiently and thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman to ensure quality service. Duties and Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections of customer vehicles (battery, lights, tires), referring all repairs and preventive maintenance to the Service Advisor. Operate and maintain lubrication equipment. Receive repair orders from Service Sales or the Production Foreman and proceed to service lifts. Lubricate vehicles and identify other repair needs. Keep customer vehicles clean during service. Ensure all equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order. Use materials and supplies judiciously. Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately. Maintain at least 1+ years of experience as a technician’s helper, apprentice, or lube technician in an automotive dealership or service shop. Possess a basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Use automotive tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Have your own set of basic hand tools, including wrenches, socket sets, impact wrenches, and torque wrenches. Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with customers. Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Be authorized to work in the USA and willing to undergo pre-employment screening (drug test, background check, MVR). Compensation (Hourly: Flag-Rate): $15-$18.00 / hour Schedule: Full-time, 5 days a week with 2 days off, Sundays off.
