Speech-Language Pathologist – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person | Illinois
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer full-time or part‑time school‑based positions, exclusively in‑person.
Founded by women and therapists, Ampersand Therapy began in Washington and is now also local to Illinois. We’re on a mission to create a supportive, values‑driven alternative to large staffing companies—where your work is understood, appreciated, and championed.

Position Details Schedule:
Part‑time (with potential for full‑time) Location:
In‑person, Illinois schools Start Date:
August 2025 Service Area:
Evaluations, direct treatment, IEP documentation, and team collaboration
Your Key Responsibilities
Deliver school‑based speech and language therapy services
Conduct assessments and complete evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEPs
Maintain timely documentation and service logs
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff
What We’re Looking For
Illinois professional licensure (or willingness to obtain)
Illinois PEL with Speech‑Language Pathologist endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in school settings preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
