Position Summary This is a full‑time float FNP role offering 30‑40 hours/week with a weekend requirement of 3/6 weekends. The float would cover a 50‑mi radius of clinics. What You Will Do

Provide primary and family evidence‑based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients.

Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow‑up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.

Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.

Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other health professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.

Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well‑being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.

Required Qualifications

Provide holistic, evidence‑based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning, including education on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, and safer sex practices.

Order and administer immunizations and injections (COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence‑based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.

Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.

Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.

Proficiency in speaking and writing an additional language (e.g., Spanish), depending on the market.

BLS certification, including performing CPR and operating an AED.

Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Preferred Qualifications

If less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.

Epic experience preferred.

Education

Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state of employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $37.66 - $81.11 per hour. This position is eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay.
